We Offer:

Full-time employees work 36-38 hours weekly, typically four 9 hour shifts.
FVH is closed on weekends and major holidays. No late nights or on-call hours. No overtime.

You have:

At least one year of recent experience working at a veterinary practice.
Past work experience in customer service is helpful as well.
Dedication to ensuring each patient and client is treated with the highest level of compassion and care.
A sincere passion for providing Fear Free care and an interest in animal behavior.
Basic skills and comfort using phones, computers, emailing, texting, and using veterinary practice-management software. We are very paper-light and currently use AVImark.
Emotional intelligence and a willingness to continually develop communication skills, and to work through problems rather than avoid them.
A positive and flexible attitude.
Professionalism, even in the less-than perfect moments of vet med.
The desire to be a part of a team who cheers each other on and is excited to be a part of the veterinary industry.
Motivation to build technical skills.
Confidence to seek feedback from peers to continue to improve, and ability to graciously accept coaching.
